Thanks, Neils.

I know you're only sending this because you know its my birthday this week! I will submit this from home this evening.

Thank you very much for finding and dealing with this. The spirit of open-source is to contribute and to use the code. Thank for doing both.

Hi Robin.

Happy birthday. You are right about the open-source spirit. The hard part in updating EXIF data is finding the image files to extract the data from. The actual coding is quite simple.

Yes. Thank You for the Birthday Greetings.

Are you in Denmark? I had an internship in Copenhagen when I was a student. Very happy memories.

I like working on the exiv2 project. Andreas is an excellent engineer, there are few bugs, and the code works very well. My contribution has been dealing with the forum and build matters (Qt/Mac/Visual Studio/CMake). We have several other great contributors - Abhinav, Gilles, Brad, Volker and Michael. I'm hoping to recruit Shawn (in China) as 'king of test'.

It'd be good to have a mechanism to maintain the maker notes. This would make life easier for everybody.

Yes, I am a Dane. I have done the odd patches for various open-source programs for about 20 Years now, so I have read my share of code. The exiv2 code is beautifully structured and easy to read.

Niels Kristian
