Exiv2 reads from images taken with the lens

Canon EF-S 18-55mm f/3.5-5.6 USM

the lens description

Canon EF-S 18-55mm f/3.5-4.5 USM.

This causes for example digikam not being able to automatically apply lens correction to such images. I attach a picture taken with this lens here.
