Iptc4xmpExt.DigitalSourcefileType has been deprecated in the latest IPTC specifications: (IPTC Photo Metadata: Core 1.2/Extension 1.3 (Oct 2016). Available here:
https://www.iptc.org/std/photometadata/specification/IPTC-PhotoMetadata
It has been replaced by Iptc4xmpExt.DigitalSourceType

Thanks for reporting this matter, Norbert. Are you familiar with the IPTC Standard? Do you know what the implications of this would be for Exiv2?

v0.26 is finished and will be released shortly. I've assigned this to Target version 1.0.

I am not familiar enough with IPTC Standard to know the implications. A user of the program I have written using exiv2 has informed me, so I just forwarded this to You.

Thanks for the clarification. I know almost nothing about IPTC. I wrote the IPTC decoder for $ exiv2 -pR image .... It's good to have this logged in Remine and one day it might receive attention.
