Description
I dusted off my 12 year old Mac PowerBook running MacOS-X 10.4.11 (Tiger) and built and tested the code.
test/tiff-test is failing. I'm sure it's an endian issue.

#1072. tiff-test.sh requires bash v4 or higher. MinGW has v3.1.23. I've given up trying to build bash v4 from source for MinGW.

It's the platform, and not the endianness. 'which' on Tiger is different from what we're expecting. So Tiger wrongly believes he has the utility exifprobe.
Rather pleasingly, exiv2 -pS test/data/mini9.tif produces the following output
