Description
digikam 4.10.0 plans to offer reading, converting and writing ACDSee properties. Reading and converting are currently working. For writing, support for the ACDSee namespace is required.

There are multiple requests scattered over the Internet to support migrating from ACDSee to other DAM applications. In addition to the digikam request, there is an open Shotwell bug and many requests on the Adobe and dpReview forums.
