Description

Output of exiv2 -pt FILENAME | grep -ai lens: Exif.Panasonic.ConversionLens Short 1 Off
Lens does not have a name so far as i know, the DMC-TZ70 does not have a removable lens.

I'm not sure that I've understood this issue and Pascal's article is quite long. What output are you expecting from Exiv2 for the attached image?

In general Exiv2 does not manufacture metadata. It reports what it finds in the image. As you have observed, they have stored `Exif.Panasonic.ConversionLens Short 1`. Without knowing the camera, I don't know what that means. I've looked at a review of the DMC-TZ70 camera. I believe it has a fixed lens which cannot be replaced. So Panasonic haven't stored any metadata about the lens other than this "ConversionLens 1".
