Handle Pentax makernotes in samsung-rebranded cameras
The Samsung GX DSLR cameras (GX-1S, GX-1L, GX-10, GX-20) are rebranded Pentax cameras (*ist Ds2, *ist DL2, K10D, K20D respectively). The makernote written by those cameras is the "AOC\0" formatted Pentax makernote instead of the Samsung makernote format.
This format detects the Pentax signature on samsung branded cameras and hands them over to the pentax makernote parser. The patch has been tested with JPG files from the Samsung GX-1L camera I own.
I don't think this simple change is copyrightable at all.
In case some on considers it copyrightable, I state: As I live in Germany, I can not transfer copyright to you, though (The german copyright laws do not provide something like that). Nevertheless I can and do grant you a non-exclusive right to use the patch for any purpose, including redistribution of the patch or code derived from it under any conditions. I explicitly include novel use forms of the patch that are not yet known.
