Exiv2

Hi! I am the author of Rapid Photo Downloader, which uses pyexiv2 and therefore exiv2. Thank you very much for your wonderful application.

One of my users is asking about the makernotes FileNumber and ShutterCount for the Canon 1D series. From what I can tell, exiftool supports these two tags. Although it seems that the ShutterCount tag is not always reliably written by the Canon 1D series cameras, it would be good to have it available (looking at a sample Canon 1Ds MK III CR2, the ShutterCount is "1"). Have you already investigated adding support for this tag? And what of FileNumber -- perhaps that is the same tag that Exiftool calls "FileIndex"?
