Merged all changes from the unstable branch into the trunk.

Added EXIV2_ prefix to cmake config variables.

- fix ENABLE_LIBXMP
- add LOCALEDIR as set from the CMAKE_INSTALL_PREFIX
- add VERSION and SOVERSION

- add ENABLE_SHARED_EXIV2, ENABLE_XMP, ENABLE_LIBXMP, ENABLE_PNG, ENABLE_NLS, ENABLE_PRINTUCS2, ENABLE_LENSDATA as options for building - nls isn't done though and needs some work
- add further messages/a macro to give out any message we like
- add xmp as a convenience library if wanted...
