or rather, getting detected as a 137, This is a Sigma 18-250mm superzoom 1st generation (i believe)

I decided to buy this lens for my Nikon D5300 and indeed, I can confirm that it was detected correctly by exiv2 (built from trunk r3508).

It cost €299. I was planning to buy it mail order/tax free from B&H in NYC for $349. This was a better deal and I have it today to use in Tenerife.
